Colton House Hotel

I recently photographed a rooftop proposal at Colton House and cannot say enough good things about the experience. The staff was kind, accommodating, and incredibly helpful. Especially Bailey, who made the planning process smooth and stress-free. The rooftop terrace is such a hidden gem: intimate, stylish, and filled with beautiful natural light. It created the perfect setting for a quiet, emotional moment, and the ease of having friends and family celebrate downstairs after made it even more special. As a photographer, I'm always looking for locations that feel both beautiful and personal and Colton House delivers on both. Highly recommend for proposals, weddings, or any meaningful celebration.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at Colton House Hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by how gorgeous everything was—every corner of the property is beautifully designed and thoughtfully maintained. It's easily the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and the attention to detail is truly impressive. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable; I slept better than I have in ages. The patio was stunning and made for a perfect spot to relax. On top of it all, the staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. If you're looking for a place in Austin that’s stylish, spotless, and truly restful, I can’t recommend Colton House enough!

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The design is stylish and thoughtfully put together. The overall atmosphere is quaint and intimate, making it feel more like a hidden gem than a large, impersonal hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, adding to the charm. The staff were warm and accommodating throughout. Covered parking was also a huge plus, especially for peace of mind.
