Columbia Hotel Bad Griesbach

Beautiful old hotel with thermal water pools, wellness center, restaurant and bar. Service was very polite. Rooms are clean. We are going to visit again, for sure 👍

Was on holiday with my fiancee here and we were very satisfied with the level of comfort and hospitality.

Unfortunately we cannot recommend this place. The hotel needs to be renovated/refurbished. Almost all rooms an public rooms have old, dirty carpets. Having an dust allergy staying here is very problematic, although we informed the hotel upfront. The room itself was dirty. We have had human hair, which obviously wasn’t ours as the color differs war in the bathroom during the whole stay at the same spot. The pool was ok, but the color at the ceiling already comes off at some spots. We were not able to test the spa treatments as the spa was closed during the busy season... The reception desk unfortunately was very impolite and adulting, which is a big no-go and not what we expect from a 4* hotel. The parking is either on a public parking lot for free or at an in-house parking garage which is 6€ a day. The all-inclusive drinks are available at certain times only e.g. if you are looking for coffee in the afternoon. During the new year‘s eve celebration you have to pay for a glas of simple Prosecco (5,50€ each). Other hotels of the same category are giving this complementary on an occasion like this. The waiters in the restaurant have been very polite and caring. Nevertheless we would not come here again as we are very disappointed.
