Columbus Urban Resort

We have been to Florence several times and the Columbus Urban Resort is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The hotel has been recently refurbished. Hence everything is brand new, really well done and maintained. Rooms are spacious and cleaned twice per day. The SPA is beautiful. Above all staff were wonderful. All the staff at the front desk, including Paolo, Michela and Massimo made us feel very welcome and cared for. Alessandro at the bar was always very nice. The quality and variety of the breakfast was very good and the service was very well managed by staff including Domenico and Enzo, who were always very attentive, helpful and friendly. Also staff taking care of the maintainance of the hotel including Ali and Lina were always attentive and made us fell really care for. When needed, all our requests were promptly met by staff. When we had to extend our stay in Florence, we did not think twice about asking to prolong our stay at the Columbus Urban Resort. We will be happy to stay here again when we visit Florence next time.

One of the beat hotels that we have been in, we face some problems with an airbnb and we checked out searching for a hotel. Paolo the front office manager was wonderful, he made everything easier from checking in till the check out, we appreciated his willingness and welcoming spirit. Also, Ali the responsible and care taker of our stay was amazing and around the clock available. He assisted us to settle in and made sure we had everything we needed.

Wonderful hotel! Hotel employees went above and beyond from check in to check out. Beautiful view from our clean & spacious room. The spa facilities were also very clean & relaxing.
