My wedding day was absolutely perfect and I couldn’t have asked for a better venue, they couldn’t have done enough for us! The service was impeccable, the food was unreal and my guests are still talking about it months later, the room was gorgeous and got so many compliments!! When turning the ceremony into the reception, they did a perfect job. Staff were very lovely too!

Comfortable bed, good bathroom, needs new carpet in the bedroom. Enjoyed a drink in the bar, service was good. Only real negative was that it was almost impossible to get a carpark after being out for the evening due to wedding reception taking place. If guests are staying the nigh,t then reserved carparks should be allocated. We were very lucky to get the last park in the hotel ground.

This hotel seems better suited for events than holiday stays. The building makes a strong first impression, but there are noticeable shortcomings like unfinished tiling, cardboard bookcase images, and cheap bathroom cabinets. The large bathrooms lack thoughtful design, and finding bottles of tap water instead of sealed ones is disappointing. The continental breakfast feels cheap with bulk cereals instead of individual packages. Although we didn't request an early check-in, we stopped in and inquired . We were told to wait in the lounge for about 30 minutes, he would come get us when the room was ready. After an hour, we went to the front desk and a different clerk informed us to come back later, which was frustrating. We missed breakfast time one morning. It was approx 10 am and my elderly father was told he could not order food because they were preparing for afternoon tea. The hotel is not within walking distance of other restaurants, requiring us to eat offsite. On the plus side, there’s ample parking, and the event facilities can accommodate large groups, with plenty of picturesque backgrounds for photos. However, the gardens need better maintenance. Overall, the hotel has potential but requires improvements to enhance the guest experience.
