Booked here last minute to break up a journey and we're were very pleasantly surprised. The rooms were lovely and incredibly clean. We ate and had some drinks at the bar which was nice. Very very good value for money.
The hotel is nice and quiet with free parking for guests, the rooms are of a good size with air conditioning, a comfortable bed and some storage. The cooked breakfast was of good quality but unfortunately mine was like warm at best (which may be because I didn't go down until after 9am.
Our stay at the Comet Hotel was nothing short of terrible. From the moment we arrived, service was disorganised and unhelpful. The room was poorly maintained, with basic cleanliness overlooked, and the facilities didn’t match the description online. Noise throughout the night made it impossible to sleep, and any concerns we raised were met with indifference. For the price charged, the experience was hugely disappointing and felt more like a budget stopover than a quality hotel. Sadly, we couldn’t wait to leave and will not be returning.
