Great location adjacent to Oslo Central Station. Friendly helpful staff. Our room was ready early so we were able to get in at 1PM which gave us a couple of extra carefree hours as we were just transiting thru. #421 has an all time best view for people watching as they take pictures and selfies with the tiger in the plaza. #421 like no other with 20+ foot high ceilings. Breakfast begins at 6AM giving those like us with an early departure to enjoy in leisure. 2 minute walk to the platforms at the train station.
This location cannot be beat - it is inside the train station and the trip from the airport to the hotel was very easy to navigate and quick. Very short walk to the opera house and munch museum with easy access to public transportation for other sightseeing. The free breakfast was nice and had plenty of options. Our room was very tiny and got warm at night but it was an overall pleasant stay
Rooms and amenities are small, sparse and minimal. For example - only 1 pillow on the bed. Although there is a thermostat, there is no air conditioning if it is hot. The only way to possibly cool the room is by opening the windows and they have plexiglass screens. BUT - the location is great. Although I have now stayed there 3 times, I will probably try somepkace else next time I am in Oslo because of no AC.
