Comfort Inn & Suites Burwood

I have stayed here for a week Rooms were good and service was great. Ample parking available and breakfast

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. The room is a bit dated but otherwise everything was clean and ready when we arrived. The lady at reception was very friendly and were able to check in a couple hours early which was great, and also check out at 11am which gave us a little extra time. There's a washing machine and dryer on site $3 for wash and $2 for dryer. Location is great as Burwood markets, train station and Westfield is just down the road.

I stayed here for one night, and while the room itself had potential, the number of issues made for a frustrating and uncomfortable stay. The bathroom had mould, which immediately gave the place a dirty feel. The balcony door wouldn’t lock, leaving me feeling unsafe, even on the third floor. To make matters worse, there was a locked adjoining door leading to another room, and I kept expecting it to open during the night—definitely not a relaxing experience. The toilet was loose and felt like it would tip over if you moved too much, which is something I never thought I’d have to worry about in a hotel. There was a punch mark in one of the doors, adding to the general neglect. Technology-wise, the TV was ancient with no digital channels, and the air conditioning unit was falling apart and took forever to actually start working. On top of that, I noticed small roaches, which is never a good sign. Cracked tiles here and there just reinforced the sense that maintenance is not a priority at this hotel. It’s frustrating because the room itself was actually quite nice and could have been great with a little care. But with all these issues, I barely slept and definitely didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth at $170 for the night. Wouldn’t stay here again.
