Very nice motel. Room is spacious, bed is comfy, facilities include everything you need. Of particular note is the friendliness and proactive helpfulness of the manager/receptionist, Kate. Highly recommended.
Affordable, well-furnished, spacious but basic rooms. We discovered at nearly 11pm that housekeeping forgot to lay a flat sheet under the quilt when making up the room but the friendly staff on shift was very apologetic and super quick to rectify the situation. Zero complaints.
Maybe you shouldn’t call yourselves an “international” motel even bottle shops or Woolies shut at 10pm in Warrnambool and your reception closes at 7pm… If you arrive after 7pm you can only pick the keys up from a lock box. Pretty much like a self service Airbnb. But when it comes to charging people, they know how to charge $170 per night. If you’d like to check in after 7pm, they will ask for your credit card details for security purposes. Which is understandable. But is it really that hard to keep the reception open until around 10 PM?? This sort of a service is a great answer of why international tourists don’t choose this beautiful country. Besides this, rooms were good, clean and comfortable. Location is great, and place has a lovely vibe. Even though “the way” of service is awful, staff were kind and helpful.
