Comfort on Conns

Comfortable one-night stay following Great Ocean Road drive! Furnishings and decor are dated, but quite clean. Bed was comfortable with soft sheets. Climate control was excellent, once owner instructed on how to use AirCon. Slight musty odor dissipated completely once AC was running. Free WiFi worked great. Ample parking. This place offered all we needed for a quick stopover, and at a great price for the area.

Stayed in a 3-bedroom spot that sounds like a dream—until all five of us needed the one and only shower. Two of the bedrooms are upstairs, but getting there feels like cardio, and sound travels like gossip—you’ll hear everything downstairs. Wi-Fi was basically on vacation, but the location was perfect and the hosts were truly lovely. Bring earplugs and maybe a shower schedule.

We stayed here recently and overall, we were comfortable and happy with the accommodation. It was a little dated but the carpets, beds, bathroom and kitchenette were all clean and everything worked as it should have. There was some road noise at night from cars and trucks, but ear plugs solved any noise issues (light sleeper). We didn't interact with staff that much, but we found them efficient, friendly and polite. We looked at other accommodation, but decided on this place as it was not far from the town centre and the price was very reasonable compared to other similar offerings in Warrnambool.
