It was a great stay at the Pelham on Earle. We stayed here many years ago when it was the Commodore. It was good back then, but we were so pleased to see all the updates to the property, rooms and amenities. It was especially nice to hear the steel drum player, it was so beachy. We hope we can return soon, as it was so nice.
The interior of the room was clean and attractive but the location of our room was extremely unpleasant. Room 27 was next to the restaurant which was noisy and lacked privacy on the patio, which had a limited view with an extended wall. People dined on high top tables on the grass feet in front of our room morning and night. We had hoped to sit outdoors to rest and read but that was not possible. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach.
My husband and I booked the hotel for MDW months in advance and were told the pool would be open. I called with a question today (the day before we go) and was told it wouldn’t be open this weekend. Really disappointed in the conflicting information and will not be staying here again. Also, it’s MDW! How can the pool not be open?
