Commodore Perry Estate Auberge Collection

My stay at the Commodore Perry Estate in Austin, part of Auberge Resorts, was outstanding. The property is beautiful, with a classic 1940s and 1950s vibe that feels like stepping into a world of old-school glamour. The grounds are well-kept and impressive, and my room was comfortable and stylish. The bar was a highlight, serving great drinks—the tequila sour was a standout. The restaurant delivered solid food with a good wine selection to match. Service was top-notch, from the valet to the staff, everyone was friendly and attentive. I’d highly recommend this place for a memorable stay in Austin. I’ll be back.

Commodore Perry Estate was a true feast for the senses and a standout on our road trip. We stayed here as a stop along the way during a grueling cross-country relocation, and the estate offered such an enchanting respite from the long-haul travel. We arrived at night, exhausted from ~10 hours on the road. From the moment I stepped onto the driveway and saw the illuminated mansion and the magical evening ambiance, I felt instantly energized and inspired. Commodore Perry is a true sanctuary with beauty at every corner. I couldn’t stop taking pictures of every space and every thoughtful detail because I knew I would want to revisit the aesthetic inspiration again and again. Two of the highlights for me were our breakfasts in the exquisite dining room, where even our dog was pampered with her own doggy entree, and the long walks exploring the vast and breezy grounds. Can’t wait to return again on my next trip to Austin!

My husband and I just got married this past weekend and chose to celebrate with a mini-moon in Austin before heading home. Having stayed in some of the most highly rated hotels worldwide over the years, we've truly been blown away by the service at the Commodore Hotel—it's absolutely unmatched. While the Commodore might not have the most amenities compared to other hotels, their service far exceeded our expectations. Once they learned it was our honeymoon, they went above and beyond to make our stay extra memorable and special. We rarely write reviews, as we expect excellent service from the resorts we frequent, but the Commodore Hotel genuinely deserves this recognition. We highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return!
