We were spoilt by impeccable and attentive service, especially at the Terrace Restaurant where we had our daily meals. Fantastic location overlooking the expansive Tuscan landscape, with ever changing colours & shadows throughout the day. Lounge by the pool, or for my more active family, we explored the grounds by cycling and did some yoga at their studio. Truffle-hunting on the grounds was memorable, rounded up with a 4-course lunch with wine pairing.
My husband and I stayed here for 4 days in June for our honeymoon and are OBSESSED with this hotel. We had such a lovely stay here. Our room was incredible and the service was divine. We spent our days enjoying the pool, going on hikes, and one day we even went truffle hunting! The truffle hunting experience was so much fun, we loved learning about the process of truffle hunting and hanging with the dogs! The 4 course meal that followed the excursion was amazing. The Michelin star restaurant was nothing spectacular in our opinion and potentially skip able. However, the pizza they serve on the property in the wood fired oven CANNOT be missed. The spa needed some work! The steam room and saunas were not working properly which was a bit disappointing. Honestly the best part of this hotel is the history, the wine, and being able to immerse yourself in Tuscan wine country! Would highly recommend stopping here on your honeymoon and it’s close to many wineries!
Beautiful location, lovely facilities and delicious food. Unfortunately, the service is very inconsistent which makes even small requests hard work. The check in experience was terrible. You need a car as they will find it very challenging to get you a taxi service or shuttle to the airport and it will cost you a small fortune even for short trips. The room have air conditioning, but weirdly you will need to call reception every time you want to switch them off and then on. This spoiled our overall experience and considering the many options in the region, I would not reccomend Como in Tuscany.
