We had an incredible stay last month. The staff was so kind and friendly. Always someone available for help or questions. Hotel is in a perfect location away from the main beach buzz and crowds sustaining the true Positano charm. Close enough to some of the best restaurants in town and walking distance to almost anywhere. The views are 100% worth the climb of the many stairs to get to the lobby. We had superior views from our room. The property is stunning and hotel interiors are immaculate. Staff seen constantly cleaning. A truly special and beautiful place that feels luxury and high end. Conca dOro deserves 5 stars. ⭐️
We loved our stay at Hotel Conca d’Oro! The views of Positano from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking and the hotel itself is elegant, charming and well-maintained. Our room was lovely, and we really enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming - they took the time to get to know us, greeted us each morning, and even remembered our coffee order! The hotel also has a great bar with delicious specialty cocktails, perfect to enjoy while taking in the sunset views from the terrace. The location is ideal for soaking in the iconic Positano scenery and is close to the start of the main road. Like most places in Positano, there are stairs to reach the hotel from the main road, but that’s part of the charm of this hillside town. The hotel offers a luggage service, and the staff are happy to help with bags, which made everything so easy. It’s worth noting that stairs are simply a part of visiting Positano - whether it’s a hotel, restaurant or shop - so come prepared and embrace it! We had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to coming back someday.
We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. One of the biggest challenges was the 100 stairs we had to climb just to reach the lobby — something that should definitely be mentioned beforehand for guests with mobility concerns. The room itself was extremely small, and the lack of soundproofing made it difficult to relax, as we could hear every noise from outside the door. Additionally, we were disappointed to find unexpected charges at checkout for room service, even though no mention of extra fees was made when we ordered. On the positive side, the view from the balcony was lovely, and the hotel staff were consistently polite and courteous throughout our stay. Overall, the location has some charm, but clearer communication and better amenities would greatly improve the guest experience.
