Stayed here last year with my family of eight+ grandma. We had such an amazing time during our stay. The food is magnificent- everything at the buffet is worth eating. They were so accommodating to our vegan and vegetarian diets. The staff were so kind and friendly to our kids! Whenever we needed something, the staff was quick to come to our rooms. The rooms were so beautiful and spacious, lovely area of Porto also. Highly, highly recommend, this might be one of our best stays ever.
We had an excellent stay here in Porto. We stayed for 3 nights at the end of our trip to Portugal. The rooms were incredibly spacious, and it was fun to have an old building with history be converted into a location to stay. In addition, they were fully stocked - at the end of a long trip it was so convenient to have a washing machine and detergent ready and on site. The staff was remarkably friendly and helpful. Big thanks to the wonderful women who were running the breakfast area - the food options were top tier, and they were also extremely accommodating and friendly. The location and walkability to many of Porto's sightseeing locations also couldn't be beat. I would strongly recommend this lodging.
We recently had a lovely stay at this property. We were 6 people in two rooms. Property/staff: The rooms are pretty large and spacious. They seem a bit old but were ok for our overall needs. The staff is attentive and were helpful in recommending and reserving a Fado place that was not too touristy. In general, front desk was really helpful with all our questions. They also have a breakfast option, two of us have strict dietary restrictions so we didn't go but the others in our group who tried it enjoyed it. Location: The place is very central. A few minutes' walk to São Bento station/metro. Very close to the Dom Luís bridge, mercado do Bolhão and all key attractions. There are lots of small grocery shops but we walked about 15 minutes to Mini Preço which is quite good. Lots of nice restaurants around (Mescla, Taberna dos mercadores). Overall, a great stay and we would recommend it.
