We love this hotel located super close to the Zoo district/Eilenriede area- it's our home away from home for several weeks every summer when we visit family in Hannover. It is a comfortable place and perfect for our needs. Rooms are super clean, staff are friendly and helpful and the room price is extremely reasonable considering the location. We usually visit in the summer during their 'off season' (supposedly the hotel caters to a lot of conference attendees) so it's always super quiet and peaceful. There is no room service, but there is a coffee maker and mini fridge in the room and a lovely restaurant downstairs. Since we always visit in the summer we appreciate that the rooms have A/C and that it actually cools down the rooms quietly unlike some other hotel rooms at this price point we've stayed at. There is a beautiful little green park w/ flowers and fountains in the back of the hotel where you can stroll. I've walked around there many times to get over jet lag so I appreciate it very much! Right by a tram stop if you want to go downtown, otherwise you may need a car if you stay here unless you plan to travel by taxi/Uber. Overall we highly recommend Congress am Stadtpark and look forward to returning.
Very nice and quiet and close to Hannover Zoo where we spent the day with the kids. Nothing extraordinary and far from shops and restaurants but good value for money I'd say. Breakfast was not included and a little too expensive but that is my opinion.
The single rooms are tiny, no space for luggage, in one week they didn't change my bed once. Mini bar unplugged, a note inside says that is broken but there is the same note in every room... One free mini bottle of sparkling water, once you drink it they will not replace it, actually they put it back in the same spot empty!! Unfriendly personnel in the breakfast restaurant. Position is great, also the view if you are on high floors, breakfast is very good. All this for more than 200 euro during the Ligna exhibition, not worth half the price, surely not a 4 star.
