Coniston Street

Had a delightful stay at Coniston Lodge this June. Elizabeth and Anthony were wonderful, helpful hosts. Ask A about his service with Coniston Mountain Rescue and be sure to get E's amazing Orange Marmalade! The location was ideal for hikes, history, and beautiful views. The rental was comfortable, well-equipped, and had off-street parking. I am very happy to recommend Coniston Lodge!

Situated near the Old Man of Coniston, and only a small walk from the village centre, Coniston Lodge is a homely, quaint residence with ample living space and scenic views, whilst the owners have made no shortcuts in making our apartment as welcoming as possible, including as other reviews have mentioned, a freshly baked welcome cake! I was particularly fond of our apartment's decor: perfectly balancing enough decoration so no room felt bare nor cluttered; greatly adding to the lodge's atmosphere which in-turn was a nice reflection of the local culture of Coniston and its surrounding villages (namely, homage to Beatrix Potter and local artisanry). Combined with very comfortable furniture (beds and sofas), returning to the lodge to relax after long walks during the day was a treat in itself. I implore anyone going on holiday to the Lake District to consider staying at the Coniston Lodge, and I wish the owners all the best :)

Perfect homely cottage, we’ll equipped with a great location. 10 minutes walk to Coniston water and 5 minutes from several pubs/food establishments.Highly recommended 👍👍
