Conrad Xiamen

Conrad is one of our favorite hotel brands, given we previously stayed in NY, London, and Tokyo, we definitely look forward to our stay over a long weekend.. Room: very spacious, around 660 sq ft, equipped with separate bathroom, washroom and shower, walk-in closet.. mini bar and nespresso coffee is free of charge Breakfast: - comes free with the room, good variety, with both Western and Chinese choices.. must try the Xiamen noodles which is a local specialty.. - unfortunately their 3 coffee machines don’t seem to function properly during our stay.. it’s either running out of milk or unable to make any coffee other than black / Americano Service: - housekeeping did a great job cleaning and tidying our rooms - concierge gave good tips on how to take ferry to the island 鼓浪嶼 Although Conrad is not next to any subway stations, we could easily hail cabs and travel anywhere within Xiamen for less than ¥30! We enjoyed our stay, and definitely find this hotel excellent value for money!

One of the best hotel stays in China! Apart from the breathtaking views, the food selections and convenience of the location, what really impressed me is the impeccable service rendered by the young and vibrant staff team. Special mentions to Lille, Doran and Minh at the concierge. At the forefront of the hotel, their friendly assistance and attention to details make guests feel so very welcomed. Thank you!

Conrad Xiamen provides a distinctly upscale atmosphere, perfect for a few days of indulgent relaxation. The impressive seaview enhances the ambiance. However, this premium experience comes at a higher cost, as you are paying for the view and the hotel's overall luxury. The staff are friendly, and the beach is easily accessible by a short drive. For those prioritizing a beach or seaview stay and willing to pay, Conrad Xiamen is a strong contender. The main drawback, in my opinion, is the relatively high price per night, which, if adjusted lower, would likely make it an extremely popular choice.
