Constantine Marriott Hotel

I had high expectations for the spa at this 5-star hotel, but unfortunately, it was a major letdown. The moment I walked in, the smell was unpleasant, definitely not the relaxing atmosphere you’d expect from a luxury spa. The massage itself was far from professional: the therapist lacked technique, and the overall experience felt rushed and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the oils used smelled terrible and left an odd residue on my skin. This was one of the worst spa experiences I’ve had, especially in such a high-end setting. I truly hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

The food was unpleasant-everything tasted like mutton even if you had chicken or beef. I assume they were all cooked in the same cookware. Also, the general impression was that the food was not cooked in a hygenic kitchen. The staff was also rude - we had our dinner included but when we left they asked us to sign a bill for the dinner. We had to ask for the manager to solve the problem as the staff was rude, not speaking english and treated us like thieves. It was far from the Marriott experience we were expecting.

I visited this hotel today 15/02/2025 with two guests and traveled from another province specifically to enjoy its services (130KM), but I was shocked by the significant decline in the restaurant’s quality. The food no longer reflects a three-star hotel; most dishes were cold, the meat selection was limited to chicken only, and the taste was excessively salty. I had stayed at this hotel multiple times since its opening, but unfortunately, I noticed a major deterioration in service and quality, despite the prices doubling. We paid 17 000 DZD for a cold meal of salty chicken and pasta, which is completely unjustified given the quality provided. Unfortunately, I do not recommend it and will not return.
