Continental Hotel Pension

In the center, you can visit Vienna by walking. Only 20€/Parking for the complete Sunday/Monday in the protected parking 50m from the hotel. Nice breakfast, bread is fabulous. Not expensive 75€/night+breakfast Nice welcoming of the staff. Tiberius is a very nice host, speaking all the languages needed ;-) The night was calm. With the lift, having luggages was not painfull. Simple room, nice sleeping.

Excellent position in a street for pedestrians full of shops and bars, very close to the metro stop U3 Neubaugasse, and only 15-20 minutes walking from the Hofburg-Sisi Museum, the Parliament and the Rathaus (we went during thr winter season and there is a big place for ice skating in front of the Rathaus). The rooms are old style but clean, with wi-fi and a small fridge. Our room had an amazing view on the street and the church. The bad things were that the room was in front of the reception where every morning there is breakfast so we went out and there were people taking coffee just next to us (at least, from inside you don't hear any noises; moreover, next to the hotel during the week there are people from the Wiener Linien Metro working but, as I wrote, you don't hear any noises in the room and this is very good); second thing, there were not many things for breakfast, it was very basic but it was not a big problem. In summary, the stay was pleasant and quiet; for sure, the best thing is the position, excellent for everything!

Location excellent, WiFi good, safe in room. Nice small shower room However the hotel is dated and worn, needs upgrading not 4star. The carpet is dirty and worn. The towels are worn and look years old, should be replaced. I stayed 5 nights and bed linen not changed. Old pillows. Breakfast basic, reception desk is in the dining area Shabby needs updating.
