Continental Hotel Skopje

Avoid staying at this hotel at all costs, even if it is “close” to the center, it is not worth staying. From the beginning of the stay nothing was as it should be...they were asked for information about the wireless internet connection because it didn't work for us and we had to do everything to get it to work, surely connecting to another network that was supposed to be the hotel's. It was noticeable the lack of care that could have been taken by the hotel when preparing them because when removing the top sheet we also took the mattress topper with us so we had to make the bed after arriving tired to the room and a lot of spots in the wall. Regarding the breakfast, it should not be what is expected of a 4 star hotel, even almost a 1 star hotel, there was no prepared coffee only instant, the orange juice was a bottle on the main table, and the ham and cheese ... better not talk, it serves to not be hungry, but what is to feed you, little. It is cheaper and even better, if you have no other option to stay here, to go to the nearest shopping center and have breakfast in conditions...

This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. No air conditioning in the middle of a heatwave, no fridge in the room, and water was literally leaking from the ceiling. Breakfast is supposedly served until 10:00, but by 9:10 there was nothing left, and the staff just said, “We’re closing in five minutes.” On top of that, they only give one key card for a double room, which makes it incredibly inconvenient if two people want to come and go separately. Overall, a complete disaster – avoid this place at all costs.

What can I say, just closed it down please, will be good for guests and for the town. I stayed last night as part of a package holiday, thanks God only for 10 hours. Very very dirty, too many things wrong to name. The photos on the website must be from when it was build. Please stay away from it. The photos I put on are from the mattress and the “curtain”of my room.
