They're fantastic in absolutely EVERYTHING! Located in the best spot of the city (right in front of Ponte Vecchio) so we were near of all the great spots of the city, and could do anything with a 10 minute maximum walk. Besides that, the whole crew were very helpful to us, recommending great restaurants, places to go in the night, etc... If I could I'd give this hotel 6 stars! The best we've been in our trip to Italy!
This hotel was an absolute gem in Florence. It’s incredibly situated and you can literally walk everywhere of significance you’d like to go in Florence. Breakfast was extremely high-quality and there was a limited room service menu. Frankly, with all of the options around you, I could not see Eating in the hotel beyond our breakfast. The concierge and Hotel staff were phenomenal. In reading some of the other reviews, those travelers did not understand where they were going. The large US lake hotels are few and far between, especially in such a richly historic area of Florence. We traveled with our teenagers who really enjoyed the hotel as well.
A perfect 5 for 5. When looking for a hotel in Florence, it can be a little overwhelming with all of the options. This hotel checks ALL of the boxes. Service: INCREDIBLE. From the check in staff to the hotel porter (or bellhop). So helpful & friendly. Nightly turndown service was such a treat. The lady who checked up in was recommending resturants and we luckily had one night open and she offered to try and get us a reservation. We are SO glad she did – it was our best meal in Florence (Trattoria Sostanza). We were later told most have to make a reservation weeks (if not months) in advance. Location: LOVED the location. Right next to the Ponte Vecchio bridge. It didn't get too noisy and you're a ~6 min walk to the Doumo and a handful of museums. Others in our party stayed at a "5 star" hotel closer to the Doumo and it was overrun with tourists and crowded. Take our advice and book this place.
