CoolRooms Palacio de Atocha

We are a family of 3 (8 year old child), and we all absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms were incredibly spacious, the bathroom was beautiful and shower was huge, the bed was so comfortable. The staff was amazing, everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel was perfectly located within walking distance to all the major attractions (and also to the subway if you prefer not to walk). Since we visited in July, we did our sightseeing all day, then relaxed by the pool in the late afternoon and it was absolutely perfect. We were so happy to have the pool since the days were so hot and tiring. The pool was not ever crowded and we were able to get a seat every day. We will definitely be staying here again! This was one of our best hotel experiences yet!

I cannot say enough good things about CoolRooms Madrid! We had booked an Airbnb that unfortunately did not have properly functioning AC. We booked CoolRooms last minute, and it saved our trip. We booked a two bedroom suite. It was spacious and beautiful without being stuffy. The beds and then linens were incredibly comfortable. The pool, although petite, was perfect for a quick plunge to cool down and play with our 2 year old. The food was solid. Most importantly, the service was excellent! Every person we interacted with was very kind and helpful. They even set up a tiny tent in the room for our child and gifted him a teddy bear which days later he continues to hold. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We will be back 🤩

We loved this hotel - best of all our Spanish hotels we stayed at! The rooms are enormous and we had a gorgeous balcony window overlooking the pool and courtyard. The bathroom amenities are high end, as are the room fixtures and finishings. Immaculately clean and presented, including a hand written welcome note and chocolate truffles in the room. Food in the restaurant was great (we had dinner here on our first night), service always with a smile and helpful reception staff with directions and restaurant recommendations. Location was an easy walk to attractions, restaurants and the train station. Breakfast was made fresh upon request from a large menu selection.. all served on the terrace room by the pool and courtyard. Enjoyed the quirky rooms and seating spaces throughout the hotel. Highly recommended this hotel and if ever in Madrid, we will definitely be back!
