We had a fantastic stay at Coorg jungle camp back water resort From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained with a stunning view of the back water. The resort's amenities were excellent — the pool area was serene and well-kept, and the spa services were incredibly relaxing. The restaurant offered a great variety of dishes, with both local and international cuisines, and the breakfast buffet was a highlight of our mornings. What truly stood out was the staff — always polite, helpful, and genuinely caring. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Location-wise, the resort is perfectly situated — close enough to local attractions yet tucked away for a peaceful and relaxing experience. Would definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing retreat!
Beautiful place with a scenic backwater view and good service. We had come here after our wedding and are visiting again after 8 years. Overall, it was a great experience. The only suggestion would be to renovate the rooms—they could use an upgrade. I also had a spa service, and Anila was excellent. She provided a truly relaxing experience.
The only highlight of this resort is its beautiful location – right in front of the backwaters of a dam, surrounded by lush greenery. Being nestled in the jungle, the weather was absolutely pleasant during our August visit, making the setting quite serene and peaceful. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The service was poor, and the staff seemed unresponsive. The food was very average, with very limited options for vegetarians in both dinner and breakfast. Definitely not what you’d expect from a resort in this price range. The rooms were not very clean, which affected our comfort, and to add to the letdown, the kids’ swimming pool was completely empty, making it unusable. For the amenities and service provided, I feel the resort is overpriced. With some serious improvements in cleanliness, service, and food variety, this place has potential due to its great location – but as of now, I wouldn’t recommend it for the cost.
