Unforgettable Stay at Marriott Coorg – True Luxury in Nature! Our experience at Marriott Coorg was nothing short of exceptional. Surrounded by the serene beauty of Coorg’s hills and coffee estates, the property is a perfect blend of elegance and calm. The rooms were beautifully maintained, offering breathtaking views and top-tier comfort. A special highlight of our trip was the Madikeri Kitchen. The food was outstanding, offering both local Coorg delicacies and global cuisine with authentic flavors. But what truly made it memorable was the incredible staff—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Every meal felt like a personalized experience, thanks to their dedication and hospitality. From the spa to the infinity pool, every facility was thoughtfully designed for relaxation and rejuvenation. The service throughout the resort was consistently excellent, making us feel truly pampered.

I visited Coorg Marriott with family for 2 nights. Have been to many Marriott properties, but it was unfortunate that this one did not meet my expectations. First of all, location is underwhelming with no views from the rooms. Balconies are practically unusable as there is no shade above and it was raining all the time. It was very dirty too. Cost cutting is visible in the design and layout of the entire property. It is visibly run down and no attention to details. Built like an average quality apartment is what I felt. The only highlight is the food, especially the local cuisines. I would give 5 stars for food and restaurant services. Overall service is also something I won't complain about. Staff is certainly trying their best to keep you happy, but the property is so underwhelming that there is nothing they can do about. One major disappointment was the additional charge for my son as he was above 12. I knew I have to pay for him, so while booking, I clearly declared the age of kids. The booking was accepted for 3 adults and 1 kid, but there was a fine print somewhere in the bottom that the Makemytrip charged only for two adults. So, I had to pay extra for one adult at the time of checkin. I don't think it was Makemytrip problem as I have booked many properties similar way and never had a problem in the past. They could have clearly stated and asked for extra upfront. I wouldn't have booked the property in that case as there were many properties available at such overpriced rates. Good food, restaurant and courteous staff saved my trip from being a total disaster.
