Exceptional stay – truly five-star service at Marriott Copenhagen After a disappointing experience at another hotel, we were lucky to find a room at the Marriott Copenhagen — and what a difference it made. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The service was warm, genuinely friendly, and highly professional. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a stunning view over the water — exactly what we needed after a long journey. It was peaceful, luxurious, and felt like a true escape. The food was a highlight in itself. Both the breakfast and dinner were absolutely outstanding — worthy of a Michelin star. The quality, presentation, and attention to detail were unmatched, and each meal was a true culinary experience. This stay completely transformed our city trip and gave us the romantic and relaxing experience we were hoping for. We will absolutely return, and can wholeheartedly recommend Marriott Copenhagen to anyone seeking comfort, class, and exceptional hospitality.
Nice, quiet hotel right on the waterfront. Some of the rooms are newly renovated, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the train station, which is super convenient. Just a heads-up — don’t take a taxi from the airport. We paid almost €100 for a 15-minute ride, which was wild. Denmark is definitely more expensive than other EU countries, so be prepared for that. The hotel has bikes you can rent, which is a fun way to get around. The Executive Lounge is a nice touch with good snacks and drinks, but it can get a bit crowded at times. As for Copenhagen itself to be honest, I didn’t find it that special. It’s nice, but nothing really wowed me. I’d say 2 nights is more than enough if you really want to check it off your list. Overall, solid hotel in a peaceful spot, just manage your expectations for the city and budget accordingly.
I was extremely disappointed when I stayed in this hotel.. I was supposed to stay for 4 nights but I barely made it one! Overpriced super old the bathroom is unacceptable (shower of the 70') nothing luxurious about it u feel that you went back in time! Need renovation badly staff not nice had dinner in their restaurant and the waitress took my plate without asking me if I finished though it was half full ! She asked me several times if she should get me the check as if she wanna get rid of me quickly... needs lots of improvements the only thing that is keeping them going is the amazing view...
