Coppards Rest

This is our 4th stay at Coppards Rest. Rest being the key word. It’s close enough to everything to be within a short drive but also nestled away from any tourist hot spots that might cause crowds. The house is brilliantly stocked with everything you could need and if it isn’t there, just ask Linda she will probably loan you something from the main house. Exceptionally clean and tidy, beautifully presented with both heating and cooling. You never know what treats Linda might have baked for your arrival, sourdough, muffins, Anzac biscuits and the eggs are endless because the chickens are literally in your back yard to watch, feed and enjoy. This is a great holiday home for anyone wanting a break, couples or families (fantastic caravan cubby and trampoline ). We use it as a base and drive to the beach for the day or shop. Travelled from Qld to Geelong for a family wedding and have just completed a 4 day stay at fabulous Coppards Rest! Linda the owner greeted us with a plate full of home baked Anzac biscuits and a friendly smile. The house was spotlessly clean and very thoroughly equipped, definitely a home away from home. Tea, Coffee, Coffee pods, sugar and milk provided plus a bottle of non Alcoholic wine was an added bonus. Lovely verandah area to sit outside and chat with the chooks. Short distance to a Woolies supermarket and fish and chip shop. Trampoline and an adorable little 'kiddies caravan' playhouse on site, which if I was 65 years younger I'm sure I'd love to play in! lol Highly recommend Coppards Rest for a family stay and will definitely be recommending them to all and sundry.

Amazing host, nice clean home and had everything we needed. Highly recommended staying if you have children. My girls loved the chickens
