Coppid Beech

Had a very lovely weekend at the Coppid. The room felt brand new and the bed was extremely comfy (extremely large too). The staff were all very pleasant and accommodated any requests I had. Special mention to Logan and the Kiwi guy on the bar on our last night who were happy to mix up any drink I could think of. I spent most mornings using the pools facilities and loved it. All in all a very pleasant stay and would recommend this place highly. ps. special mention for the fish tank, it is almost worth staying here just to marvel at it.

We stayed for one night on 28/06 and are already planning our next trip and want to book the same rooms again! We were given a free upgrade and had two adjoining rooms so my daughter had her own room and bathroom which she loved. The rooms are tastefully decorated, spacious and so so clean, in fact the whole hotel is spotless. Every single staff member we interacted with were friendly and polite and check in/out was a breeze. The only complaint is I feel the price of the food was not reflective of the quality of the food, in my opinion ingredients used were very cheap and I've never had a cheesecake with such little flavour before which is why I bumped down a star. However the service was excellent and we were served in a timely manner.

Whilst the hotel is well looked after and the staff were lovely, there are some things people should know: - Rooms are modern but the extra large bed is not so large, the air con is blowing cold onto the bed making it too cold to sleep. The blinds keep no light out so you need to have your own eye mask. Bathroom is nice - The nightclub went on with banging music until at least 1.30am. Could hear people leaving as they were shouting outside. Fine if you're in the club but not if you're trying to sleep (we stayed on a Saturday) - The food in Rowans was OK. Most of our group (16 people) enjoyed theirs. The veggie beyond burger is overpriced and came with no extras. The patty was dry and overcooked and chips were cold. The bun was cheap too. I'm sure there was no love lost when making this. Breakfast was no better. The quality of the eggs (they just tasted mass produced) and baked beans was poor. Croissants and pancakes were decent. Coffee was OK. We are both vegetarian so the meat options may be better - Traffic outside our room was very loud in the morning as it's on a fairly main road I don't like leaving negative reviews but it's the only way things can improve and I want others to get a true reflection of our experience
