Copthorne Al Jahra Hotel & Resort

Lovely hotel. Very attentive and helpful staff, in particular Amaj who drove me around and was always early and always helpful, but also every member of staff was kind and courteous. I didn’t use the pool or fitness centre but they looked excellent. Location was great for me but is half an hour from the city centre and beach.

Honestly, I really enjoyed my stay at Copthorne Al Jahra Hotel & Resort. The place is super clean, the staff are incredibly kind and helpful (shoutout to the room service team seriously, 10/10). It’s a bit out of the way, kind of in the middle of nowhere but that actually made it really peaceful and relaxing, which I didn’t know I needed until I got there. Now let’s talk food. I had an omelet every single morning, and I swear, it only got better each day. Like, how does that even happen? Too good not to mention. Also, the club sandwich? Elite. Don’t skip it. The rooms are comfy, and the whole place just feels calm. I stayed in one of the rooms with a view of the pool — totally worth it. There’s plenty to do too: two outdoor pools, a kids’ playground, a gym with a steam room and jacuzzi (men only though), and even a tennis court. Plus, they’ve got a small shopping mall inside which was a nice surprise. They’ve also got this buffet restaurant, Taima’a, that serves a mix of Arabic, Indian, Italian, and seafood. And there’s a sports bar and outdoor café with shisha and air-conditioned pods — felt like a little mini vacation in itself. If you’re traveling with family or just want a break from the noise, this is a great pick. Would definitely go back.

Disappointing Experience with the Reception Staff Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel did not meet our expectations due to the poor attitude of the reception staff. We encountered (rude behavior and a lack of responsiveness to our inquiries), which affected our comfort during the stay. We kindly urge the hotel management to focus on training their staff on proper guest relations, as the reception service reflects the first impression of the hotel.
