Room was lovely and big, with plenty of space to sit down. Nice and modern as was the bathroom. Shower had brilliant pressure!! Balcony needs updating but otherwise great place to stay
I stayed here 2 nights while on vacation. The room was pleasant with a comfortable bed, plenty of room and a balcony. It would have been perfect had there been chairs on the balcony. The coffee in the room was quite tasty. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the housekeepers. The Jimmy Cook Kiwi Kitchen in the lobby area was also nice. Their staff were a bit mixed on friendliness and service. I am not a huge fan of New Zealand cuisine but what I ate was tasty. I would stay here again.
We loved the super comfy beds, the warmth of the room, the shower. It was simple with a jug and tea/coffee provided, a great sized TV, quiet. The only thing we could fault is a whistle noise at night, when the place was quiet. Sounded like wind whistling through wires or something?
