Copthorne Hotel Slough Windsor

We stayed here as part of a package with Legoland. The staff were really friendly and helpful especially Tony who greeted us and sorted out or room etc on arrival. As part of the package we had pool access, parking and breakfast included. We used the pool the night we checked in and our son really enjoyed. The breakfast in the morning was great our son really enjoyed making his own pancakes on the machine, the staff were really friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the selection of food on offer as our son is a picky eater. If you are visiting Legoland and want a nice friendly hotel to stay I would recommend the Copthorne.

This has to be one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I booked Copthorne Hotel specifically because of the pool – I thought it would be great for the kids to enjoy some downtime during our trip. I have never known for a hotel to add additional charges to using facilities like swimming pool, gym etc. That's why we book for the facilities along with a room. Also adding parking charges for customers staying at the hotel. Absolutely ridiculous, especially for a hotel that’s nowhere near Central London. What made things even worse was the attitude at check-in. When I expressed my disappointment only to be met with a dismissive smirk from the staff member. No empathy, just rudeness. If you're considering this hotel DON'T. There’s one directly opposite that I would have rather booked instead. At least they’re upfront about their facilities and don’t charge for every little thing. Won’t be coming back.

Really bad experience, as i forgot my tripod in the room , and when i found out i called them , they checked and they found it . I said okay i will collect it in a month when i will come to slough again . They said okay . When i came to collect it, i explained them all again like what days i stayed what day i called for the missing tripod and all ,they were like we can’t find it , our cleaning staff has gone home today maybe you can come tomorrow, i stayed in slough for one more day just to collect it . Next day when i went there, i explained everything thing to them again and they said the same that our staff will come late and all . Now it’s been almost 6 months. I haven’t got it back . I don’t right reviews but i have to as for me i am just a small content creator and this tripod was my first expensive equipment.
