Lovely welcoming reception area. Friendly staff. Room was incredibly clean and the bed was huge!! Bathroom was a nice size and super clean. Used their room service. Food was lovely, pricey but to be expected when staying here.

Didn't seem many choices in Sheffield for "Nice" hotels. But the Copthorne was a good choice. Very friendly reception lady who checked us in quickly and made sure we had two rooms close to each other. Nice bright clean reception and lift/corridors. Rooms and facilities were as expected for this grade hotel... only material down side was the windows were really really dirty on the outside, to the point that it was difficult to see through. Had booked a Club room, so got complimentary drink at the bar near reception, free water and soft drinks in the room as well and breakfast being included. Breakfast was very good with well presented classic hot breakfast food. Plus cereal, toast, fruit etc. Would recommend and stay again.

Friendly and efficient staff at check in. My room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was a let down though. Had to wait for quite a while to see a member of staff so I I could provide my room number prior to entering the restaurant. The member of staff didn't even speak, no 'good morning' or anything. The food was ok but nothing special, had to wait a long time for a fried egg, by the time I was given it most of my other food was cold. Overall, a nice hotel but let down by the staff working in the chaotic restaurant at breakfast.
