Coral Bay Resort

We spent 6 nights in a double room facing the sea. Positive: The great location with a beautiful view, as the beach is right at the doorstep. There’s not much nearby, but on Koh Samui, a scooter is a must. Without one, I wouldn’t recommend the location since Grab is quite expensive on the island. The staff was super friendly. The attached restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced. The room was spacious. Negative: The air conditioning was relatively loud at night. The bed was very uncomfortable, with some springs being quite hard and painful. The bathroom could use a deep clean, as the walls were decorated with dead mosquitoes.

Came to the beach here which is amazing and I would definitely recommend. Loads of fish to see swimming really close to the shore. Are at the restaurant and very disappointed, first of all they tried to short change me 500bhat, then they didn't give me my iced coffee I ordered with my food. Table was full of debris from previous customers and they made no effort to clean it up. Such as shamw as the sandwich I did get was absolutely delicious and the location is amazing just really really poor service.

Me and my parents were not staying at the resort but had come to the beach. It was approaching lunchtime and we went to the restaurant and checked the menus. We had ordered the drinks and had a read through the small selection that they had. We needed a bit more time to order and the waitress went off and then continued to ignore us even though we were ready to order. Once we managed to get a member of staff to take out order (by this time we had been waiting over an hour to have our order taken) we did not have any confidence in the staff to deliver what we had ordered. The food then came to us sporadically and we had two dishes the same that were completely different serving sizes. Overall I would not recommend eating here as it is overpriced and the staff are rude and none existent.
