Good accommodation for a good price. Small rooms but clean and have everything you need (including netflix, soft towels, toiletries). Super helpful and friendly reception staff (were able to make accommodations for me and fit me in after booking.com overbooked them). Location is not in centre of town but easy to get there with car or if you like a walk. Enjoyed my stay :)
Staff member was very nice and helpful with the booking of our family room. Sadly the room was exceptionally tiny and not exactly very clean. The doona cover on the main bed was dirty and stained on the underside, shower grate had not been cleaned properly as hair was visible. Also the shower actually flooded the whole room once the bath mat had absorbed as much as it could- we placed a rolled up towel in front of shower to try and avoid the flooding. The fridge also was tiny and not as advertised as being big enough for 4 people. The rooms are very noisy- no insulation between walls and we were woken at 5.15 am by the next door occupant showering and you could hear them walking around. I imagine that we would have also been heard by other occupants though we tried to be as quiet as possible . The location was in the industrial part of town and quite a long walk to get to centre of town/beach. Definitely not a “resort” as advertised. We did not utilise the free breakfast so unable to comment on that. Would not recommend - the room we had was supposedly for 2 adults and two children, absolutely no way this room could accommodate that many, there were only two of us and we struggled for space. No table, but there was one foldable chair in the wardrobe.
Terrible experience. I booked and paid for a hotel via Hotels.com in the evening while passing through Yeppoon and received a confirmation email for my reservation. However, when I arrived at the property, I was told there were no rooms available and that they had never heard of Hotels.com. The receptionist even tried to persuade me to cancel the reservation myself (which would mean I wouldn’t get a refund). Since then, it's been nothing but excuses – you can’t reach the hotel by phone, and they haven’t responded to any of Hotels.com’s attempts to contact them. Awful! Absolutely DO NOT STAY at this hotel!
