Coral Star Hotel & Apartments

For a 3 star… wow!! Amazing food, great service, brilliant pool ground, lovely staff, great service!!! All around brilliant! Great for the price too I would highly recommend the all inclusive! Now, only thing that bothered me was the music. New song would start and it would jump massively in volume! And that was for every song but honestly that’s no big deal. Rooms were also a bit lacklustre as the beds were sort of uncomfortable with the mattress and covers but fine for the price. Calling a taxi from the front desk was quick and easy. Kids entertainment and pool activities worth instructors are great! Thank you for such a lovely time.

Spend 1 week all inclusive. rooms very basic I would say the only let down off the hotel. Different food everyday/night , I loved the food a lot of options! Only thing is not a lot of kid options! pool nice and big area. A lot of sun loungers , staff were really nice and entertainment staff were lovely, not a big space for entertainment but was good enough. Splash park was great! no fridge in room which I didn’t like but heard you can rent one! Great location next to shops and restaurants and about 10 mins from San Antonio , also can get a water taxi over to San Antonio.(5 min walk) really good family hotel! Would return again if rooms were better and bigger!

The Hotel is quite dated, this we wouldn’t mind too much on the whole but the conditions of the apartment rooms are very poor indeed, the bathrooms had broken floor and wall tiles, leaking showers, shower trays full of gaffer tape on the base, bad drain smells, bed bases ripped and fabric hanging off or stained with marker pens, balcony area doors all cracked and peeling, don’t close properly or have handles missing on the outside, bed sheets not changed for the entire holiday (9days ) beds not being made daily (they were made on 3 occasions only, we did them ourselves the other 6 days) towels not changed daily, we had to request fresh ones on one occasion and took them from the cleaning trolley on 2 other occasions and toilet rolls not being left, again we had to request these or take them from the trolleys ourselves. Apparently the hotel is closing at the end of this season, being taken over so big changes will be made. The staff are fantastic and the food is more than adequate, not a huge choice on offer but we never struggled to find something to eat. As a family holiday we enjoyed the break simply because we were all together but I don’t think we will be visiting again for the foreseeable future.
