Corfu SunGate Hotel

My recent experience at the Corfu SunGate Hotel was very positive. I found the establishment to be well-managed and comfortable. My room was clean, well-maintained, and offered a comfortable space for my stay. The food service at the hotel was good. The variety of dishes available was good, and the quality of the meals was consistently high.

The hotel is in an excellent location—just a short walk from beautiful sights, the beach, shops, and a wide range of restaurants and bars. The food was generally good, though I would have appreciated a bit more variety. That said, you’ll never go hungry. We especially enjoyed the 4 PM snack bar, which offered fries, pizza, hot dogs, gyros, and a selection of fresh fruits—a great treat between meals. The cocktails at the bar were disappointing, but thankfully the bartender mixed a local liqueur Kumquat with Sprite, which ended up saving the day!

Overall great experience, for the price, I don't think it can get any better for the price! The rooms are pretty new, basic and high humidity inside the rooms, no mosquito nets, overall decent. Pool is great, very clean. Restaurant and bar are decent, the food is good, and the drinks are decent as well. Close to the beach and around a 10 minutes walk to the center of Sidari, so its a great location. For everybody who is hesitant because of the bad reviews, its really not bad, and for the price you pay, it’s actually pretty great!
