Visited the pub for dinner. Fun vibes with good drink selection. My husband’s burger was large and he really enjoyed it. I had the Vietnamese noodle salad which was surprisingly delicious!
We stayed here for one night and ate there in the evening. The stay was great - clean rooms, well equipped, spacious bathroom, comfy bed. The food, I have to say, completely exceeded my expectations. I think at the time there was one guy in the kitchen cooking the food. I thought maybe the food would come out seemingly looking a bit rushed and a bit basic, since the pub was quite busy and for one guy that’s a large workload. I ordered the steak and it was unreal. It did take a little while to come, maybe 30-45 mins, but I wasn’t in a rush. The steak was done to perfection, it had a lovely sear on the outside, medium rare in the middle and tasted amazing. I might go as far to say that it is the best steak I have had in a non steak restaurant. Huge credit to the chef.
Might be time to review the wine list and learn the fish facts. She's a bit tired and the silence was deafening. Won't be back soz team. Didn't stay in-house so can't comment on the rooms....could be amazing!
