Corniche Hotel Sharjah

An amazing five stars hotel at the sea front of Sharjah in the middle of the two major airports. 20 minutes from Dubai International Airport and the Sharjah Airport. The quality is incredible also the crew is amazing. The room is big enough with everything you need including two big swimming pools, sauna and gyms. Special thanks to Mrs Millie at the reception desk who is hosting us with smile, professionalism and grace.

stayed at Corniche Hotel Sharjah for a few nights and overall had a good experience. The hotel is clean and the staff were friendly A very special thank you to Sue, the dinner waitress she was truly wonderful. Always smiling, very polite, and made us feel welcome every evening. Her service stood out and made a big difference in our stay. I really hope the hotel recognizes her and gives her a bonus. She deserves it One thing I hope the hotel improves is the smell of the rooms. The smell of cigarettes was very strong in our room, even though we don’t smoke. It made it a bit uncomfortable, and I even started to feel it in my chest after a while. Also, the furniture is a bit old and could use an update But aside from that, we enjoyed our time and again, huge thanks to Sue

Constant Delays, Poor Service, and Not a 5-Star Experience I stayed for just one night. I checked in on Sunday evening and checked out on Monday at 2 p.m., and even in that short time, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. When I first arrived, the room wasn’t properly cleaned. There were crumbs under the bed and hair all over the carpet. I requested vacuuming on the first day, and while housekeeping did eventually come, it was very late and they did not clean well . It shouldn’t take that long to respond to a basic cleanliness issue, especially in a 5-star hotel. Everything in this hotel was delayed. I requested tissue boxes shortly after checking in, around 3 p.m. I had to call four times throughout the day, and only received them at 10:30 p.m. — hours later. On the second day, I requested a replacement iron because the one in the room was broken, leaking, and ruined my clothes. I waited for over 3 hours, called 5 separate times, and no one ever came. Breakfast was another disappointment. I arrived as soon as the buffet opened, expecting fresh, hot food, but everything was already cold. The croissants were so hard they hurt my teeth, and the pancakes were pale and undercooked. The variety was very limited and unappealing. The only thing I could eat was a basic omelette. The parking area also had a terrible smell, like a dumpster. Walking through it made me feel sick every time. And finally, checkout was a disaster. I called more than seven times, trying every option available — guest services, housekeeping, room service, the front desk — and no one answered. I was left trying extension after extension with no help at all. The only nice part was the view from the room, but that doesn’t make up for how stressful and disappointing the overall stay was. I genuinely don’t understand how this hotel holds a 5-star rating. Based on service, cleanliness, and response times, this was a 1-star experience at best. I would not stay here again, and I would not recommend it.
