I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel located in the heart of the historic center, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I found it to be incredibly peaceful, which is quite a rarity. I had some of the best nights’ sleep here and truly enjoyed the calm atmosphere. I stayed for nine days, and throughout my stay, my room was impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. The breakfasts were fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious, freshly baked goods, and I could eat as much as I wanted. The hotel also has a lovely restaurant where we enjoyed delightful dinners. I must give special thanks to the staff, especially Dario and Alessandro, who were always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The chef often came around to ask if we were enjoying the meals, which added a lovely personal touch to our experience. Another thoughtful detail was the complimentary water in the room, and I loved that the air conditioning was already on when I arrived, so I was comfortable from the moment I stepped in. Overall, the service was exceptional, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Five stars all the way!

A Dreamy Stay in the Heart of Conversano – Truly Unforgettable! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Corte Altavilla is not just a hotel — it’s an experience. Nestled in the charming historic center of Conversano, this beautifully restored medieval building combines authentic history with modern comfort in the most magical way. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like royalty — warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive to every detail. The service was flawless, and we genuinely felt like valued guests. Our room was stunning — spacious, full of character, and tastefully decorated with stone walls, vaulted ceilings, and elegant furnishings. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and everything was spotless. The ambiance was peaceful and romantic, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooftop restaurant is an absolute gem! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning with a breathtaking panoramic view of the town and the surrounding countryside. Their dinner menu was equally impressive — refined local dishes made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The wine list featured some fantastic Apulian wines that perfectly complemented the food. The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of the old town, surrounded by charming cobbled streets, historic churches, and cozy cafés. Conversano is a hidden gem in itself — peaceful, authentic, and full of history. It’s also a great base to explore nearby gems like Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, and Alberobello. A special mention to the spa: intimate, relaxing, and well-equipped — we booked a couple’s massage and left feeling completely renewed. Corte Altavilla manages to blend the magic of the past with the luxury of the present. Whether you’re visiting Puglia for romance, relaxation, or exploration, this place will exceed your expectations. I can’t recommend it enough and I can’t wait to return!

Charming place in the center of the old city and we really enjoyed our stay. Extensive selection of food in the breakfast buffet with free made-to-order options of omelets, pancakes, coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice etc. from the kitchen. Very courteous and fast staff, many of whom have worked in the place for 20 years. Great cleaning. Invaluable with well-functioning air conditioning and wooden screens to completely light proof the room for sleeping. I would recommend staying only 3-4 nights (not a week) to avoid having to eat dinners in the same restaurants in the neighborhood. You can’t park right by the hotel. Be aware that Google suggests an unnecessarily long and circuitous walk from the paid parking lot belonging to the hotel to the hotel. It’s possible to walk up the stairs past the castle to the hotel, which is only about 300 meters. You can’t get into the reserved parking lot without a code, so call the front desk to get it. Street parking is difficult. Paid parking is €10 per day.
