Cortijo Chico Málaga Airport

First of all: Do treat yourself with a dinner at the hotel restaurant. More on that later … Overall: This hotel was a pleasant surprise! The location is great for the airport - near enough but you can’t hear the airport at all. The views of the country side are surprisingly nice But back to the restaurant: The hotel had a wedding the same evening with a lot of guests so I was curious if the staff had time for us. But they had - and the service was beyond excellent. The food itself was both interesting, tasty and delicious. We had a salad with caramelized cheese and a classic Andalusian gazpacho for starters. The mains were fried cod and vegetables - very delicate taste - and I had Iberian pork, which will not disappoint you if the chef knows how to cook it. And here the chef indeed knew that. Desserts, coffee, fruits and ice cream. This place is indeed recommendable. I understand why someone would have their wedding party here.

Slept so good I nearly missed my flight! Honestly, airport hotels usually disappoint, but this one was a total standout. Sara was incredibly sweet and accommodating when I arrived early, and the rest of the staff were just as welcoming and helpful. The restaurant served delicious food, and the bar made some top-notch drinks. Can’t wait to stay here again!

"Decent stay, but value could be better" I stayed two nights at Hotel Cortijo Chico near Málaga Airport. The location is convenient, especially if you're flying in or out of Málaga. My room was clean and comfortable, with a good bed and quiet surroundings. However, I found the price a bit high for what was offered – the value for money felt somewhat off. Also, getting a table in the hotel restaurant was difficult, even though I tried early. That was a bit frustrating, especially after a long day. On the positive side, I could park my motorcycle safely in the hotel’s underground garage, which was a big plus. The staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. All in all, an okay experience – solid and clean, but a few small things could be improved.
