I love this hotel. I’ve stayed here twice and always enjoyed the hospitality, the location and the view from the rooms. On this most recent visit, we stayed at Frigate and instantly regretted our decision. We least early from there and moved to Cosmos and we’re welcomed by friendly staff who bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable, comfortable and pleasant. This time we used the sauna and the small pool for an hour and really enjoyed ourselves. It was such a nice escape from the incredible heat this year. We will plan to stay here every time we are visiting Petrozavodsk from now on. There’s no point in looking at anything else. They have the best staff, delicious breakfast, and incredible views of lake Onega.

We came a little earlier. Fortunately, we met the manager, she told us, that we can go earlier into the room. Thanks for that, we were incredible tired from our journey. We had breakfast included in our booking. The breakfast had a big variety of food. The food was tasty. 1 Star less, because the shower was dirty, when we entered our room first time.

Reception was very kind and accommodating to my walk-in reservation. Room in size was fine; not large, but not feeling cramped. Amenities were few in the room, notably bathroom accessories or bathrobe, but what was done in the room was done right. The shower was in good condition, the bed was quite comfortable, the room had no unpleasant smell or whatnot. Television was quite small, and a pencil rather than a pen being provided was a little underwhelming. I dined at both the lobby bar, and the 2nd floor restaurant, for dinner and breakfast respectively. Lobby bar choices and prices were fine, with a very tasty Chicken Kiev. The breakfast was simply amazing- really puts included North American breakfasts to shame. Overall, my stay was well. 3500rub for the room was in my opinion a bit much for the space and amenities provided, but fortunately the location, service, and breakfast make up for that.
