I am just home from a trip here. I loved the glamping village, it was modern and felt so new. We stayed in Leo Bungalow and i loved it, especially the outside seating area and the fact each bedroom had its own bathroom. The bungalow really felt like we had our own home for the week, i really liked having my own front door and not having to walk through a hotel reception to get to my room like on other holidays. I liked the pool area and thought the pool was actually much nicer than how some of the photos looked, it was bigger than what i expected. The amination team where also really good, my family really enjoyed taking part in some of the activities, especially the water polo - i liked that the adults got involved in activities too, it wasnt just for kids. The location of the village itself is outside of the main town but it was still within walkable distance, although it was a walk along a busy main road, this didnt bother me however i had older children with me, if i was travelling with small children i may have disliked this. Taxi into main town was between 10 - 15 Euro, we used BOLT. It is slightly odd that it is so close to a main road however again this didn't dampen my holiday in any way. One of my favourite things about the village was seeing all the families sitting out in the evening at their outside tables eating/playing/chatting, i thought it was so heart warming. The staff were all very nice and helpful, although i do feel extra staff at poolside bar is needed. The lifeguards are very strict, again i didn't have young kids with me so i didn't mind but i seen the lifeguards, one woman in particular i thought was unnecessarily strict with some of the kids. i also had a massage at the spa - i honestly can only remember the first 5 min of it because i feel asleep, so it must have been good! Would come back here.
We stayed 12 days in a Leo bungalow. This is situated a bit higher up, which gives you more privacy. This did mean (and we didn't know this in advance) that we had to climb +- 15 steps up each time with the buggy and our 1.5 year old son to reach our bungalow. The swimming pool is open from 11am-5pm and also closes promptly at 5pm, which is a shame when the weather is nice, especially if you have just returned to the campsite after a day out. Please note that the swimming pool is not heated. The campsite is just outside Fuengirola, which means that having a car is nice, but there are not enough parking spaces. We were taken out of bed at midnight because our car was parked on the street where it was not allowed to be (it had been there since 9pm), my friend then moved it with the permission of the parking dude to a parking space on the campsite grounds for electric charging and we also have a disabled parking card that we had placed there visibly. At 1am (!!!) we were taken out of bed again, that the car was not allowed to be there. We also noticed that there were several cars on the disabled parking spaces without a disabled parking card and that cars were double parked. There is a parking dude but he clearly does not perform his duties properly. To end on a positive note; the campsite is very clean and most of the staff are very friendly and respond quickly. We received clean towels several times, unfortunately no clean bed linen in 12 days. The campsite is centrally located, with a 5 minute walk you are on the beach and to various cities it is a maximum of half an hour drive.
Amos 6 room smells like an ashtray. Someone has been smoking there a long time. What a horrible stay. We asked to change room but they did nothing.I would not recommend anyone stays in this hotel or at least make 100 % sure that you don't stay in that room. Also you need to buy your own toilet paper and they don't change your towels or linen or clean so take that also into account. Our terrace was full of bird shit and noone cleaned it over our entire stay. Premium area is behind locked doors. Or at least one locked door. The other door was open so what's the point of having a lock on the other door?
