Costa d'Este Beach Resort and Spa

We did not stay at the hot, we simply went for lunch. What a beautiful place we stumbled upon. From the lobby to the restaurant the hotel looked wonderful. My wife and I had great lunch. Christina our server was excellent meal. We will definitely return and stay at the hotel. The pool and pool bar looked very inviting. Everyone looks so relaxed and happy.

Overall an enjoyable stay. Pros: Great bathroom/large shower. Ocean views were fantastic. If you're getting a massage, Beth at the spa was an excellent masseuse! All the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The wreck about 1000 feet off the beach is an amazing selling point to make me possibly visit again when the visibility is a little better. Restaurants, coffee shops, bars, ice cream shops, are all pretty good and within very near walking distance. That's nice for early mornings and evenings or when the weather cools a bit. Cons: Beds were a bit lumpy and the sheets weren't very soft. The pool is a bit small, but the beach has plenty of seating and space.

From the moment you pull into the parking lot at at Costa d'Este you know you are in for a treat. Amazing landscaping, gorgeous waterfall, and smiling and attentive staff to great you. We happened to arrive on the day of their Summer Solstice Luau and what a compliment that was to the overall tropical ambiance of the resort. Every staff person we encountered was smiling and helpful. For the event they were wearing Hawaiian shirts and passing out leis to guests, and these touches were everything, although the property is so gorgeous and tropical, you already know you're somewhere special that has you quickly unwinding. While we were there for business, my husband can't wait to return for a vacation. While only an hour from home it's like being transported to paradise! Don't hesitate to stay here and make time to relax, enjoy the pool, the beach view, the lovely breeze, the poolside bar and the amazing food. And, if you're lucky like we were, the live music and entertainment! I understand they frequently host events on Friday evenings and it's clear from every guest and staff person we encountered that the vibe is real -- this is a place to decompress, celebrate life and enjoy.
