I’m removing a star due to their inflexibility in allowing a room change and/or upgrade request a few days before my arrival (to include another person to my booking) and also due to the thin walls where you can hear your neighbors coughing. Although I was ready and informed the hotel to pay extra, my request was simply denied and no solution or alternative was given, which left a sour start to the holidays. I would have expected a business mindset with for example an option to stay at another hotel of the chain or so if this hotel was booked. 👥 Other than that, the breakfast/dinner and reception team were joyous, kind, and super efficient. 🥘The buffets for breakfast/dinner were excellent, there was something for everyone, even for me who doesn’t eat pork. 🛏️ The room/hotel design is nice and contemporary, with light colors and accents of wood here and there. My room had a balcony which was nice. Room was cleaned daily. 🏊‍♂️The rooftop has a small pool and the ground floor has a decent sized one (but still small for laps, rather for dipping in to refresh). 📍The area is lively, with small shops and restaurants around, and not even a 10 minute walk to the beach. 🚌 The bus (for the Airport and other areas) departs in front of the hotel which is a convenient bonus. It’s 5€ to get to the Airport. Even with the disagreement at the beginning, I still had nice holidays, and would recommend this hotel ✅

Pros: location is good, rooms are good that were cleaned daily and towels changed daily too. There was a swimming pool on the ground floor and a smaller one on the top floor with dj nights on Saturday and Sunday. Since we booked from the website, we got one time free drinks. Breakfast was good too with fresh fruits and they had delicious bakery (cakes) Cons: Lifts malfunction sometime. One time we had to wait 45 mins in the lift and the reception was not very helpful in providing updates or to show urgency to get it opened quickly. The other time the lift went on a different floor. Again when we told the reception about it, they were like they know but cant do anything about it. Vegetarian options were severely limited during dinner. Pizza was hard.

The hotel is located about 800 meters from the beach, but there is a steep uphill walk on the way back, which can be quite tiring. The food was always bland, with very little seasoning and not much variety. As for desserts, none of them were to our taste, so we didn’t eat any. Another big downside is that you have to pay separately for every drink, even water or juice, which was disappointing. The room was clean and nicely arranged, but the shower cabin was a problem – water leaked everywhere, making the whole bathroom wet after every shower. Also, the balcony light automatically turned on at night and there was no way to switch it off, which was quite annoying. There are only 2 lifts for 11 floors. The staff was friendly and polite.The pool was too small and stayed in the shade most of the day. The music around the pool was very quiet, but on the rooftop bar they served great cocktails and, when there was a DJ it was very nice. Overall, we would not return to this hotel.
