Great hotel just a 10 minute walk from Bang Saray beachfront. Unique design with strong elements of a Greek villa. The room size (523) was large and could easily accommodate 3. The bed was king size, soft mattress with four oversized pillows. There was also a built in chaise bed. Very dark curtains if you want to block out the light. The TV was very small and a number of the cable TV channels didn’t work. Perhaps an upgrade of the system is overdue. Bathroom was large, two person shower. The water pressure was OK and the temperature was warm but not hot. Basic amenity kits were provided. The air conditioning was very efficient. I found the hotel common areas and the room very clean. Absolutely no noise issues from the road or other guests. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially the porters and parking assistants. It was a long weekend holiday so the hotel was very busy and parking tight. I didn’t utilise the rooftop pool but many other guests did. I had a great time in Bang Saray and would definitely recommend this hotel.
First of all my mum paid 3,190 baht a night and the total was 18,900 for 6 nights and our request for a refund was declined. This hotel was very quiet which I don't mind but it was too quiet, we never saw any other guests and it looked like nobody was there. We had booked out first room and it was a jacuzzi room, it looked nothing like the pictures included and not to mention there was no warning as to where the balcony was apart from a curtain, I had climbed up the jacuzzi stairs to turn the water on and I nearly fell off the balcony because it wasn't visible. The water smelt like sewage water as it was filling. We complained and they offered us an upgraded room for an extra price, they then said the manager allowed us to have the room we selected with no extra charge. When we moved into our new room the sink leaked 24/7 and they said they would get someone in to fix it the next morning but it was never fixed. There was also a strange noise from our ceiling that would happen every single night without fail. We asked to use the bikes provided by the hotel for free and only one was working, they said they would fix it the next morning but it was never fixed. The rooftop pool was provided with no service, they was a bar at the pool where you could order drinks and maybe food I'm not sure, the pool was open from 7am to 9pm without a single soul there apart from myself, the glass balcony next to the pool was completely broken, I thought maybe there would be a member of staff up there in case someone was to go near it, it was blocked off with a thin piece of string with no warning. Overall I'm very disappointed with this hotel and will not be coming back.
I paid 3,800 baht, but what I received was completely different from what I expected. The hotel was not clean, and the room did not match what was shown in the email. Considering the price and the fact that breakfast wasn’t included, I feel that this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had
