Cotswold Lodge Hotel

We had a great stay at the Cotswold Lodge. It is not in the city centre but I would still recommend staying there if you don't mind a short walk. There are beautiful side streets around with cute cafes and shops which you would miss if you were in the centre. The hotel itself is also very much worth it. I would recommend booking a room at the original building. Very big and comfortable rooms, with everything you might need for a city trip. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Unfortunately I didn't catch the names of the staff but everyone we interacted with were absolutely wonderful! Would definitely book again for a trip to Oxford.

Homely hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Lovely toasted muffin on a heavy warmed plate. Perfectly poached egg. Nice chunky salmon. Hollandaise is lemony. Fresh fruit is nice too. (I managed to get a slice of salmon with my toast before running to my event :> Rooms are spacious, cozy, and clean. Staff are friendly.

The hotel offers a British room with a big parking space for your car, a very nice traditional lobby, and a beautiful garden in the heart of town. Curtains are nice—though not to everyone’s taste. Staff were genuinely welcoming. Just note it can get a bit warm in summer without AC
