Cottages at Bridal Falls

It’s an alright motel, but definitely needs some updates: - I would have felt a lot safer having a deadbolt on the door, rather than just the doorknob lock. - The shower head wasn’t great and sprays everywhere, with very little pressure on the streams that are working. - Bed was extremely comfy and pillows good. - The wifi does not reach the room I was in, and with how awful the cell service is there, it was a bit frustrating. Beautiful area and great location otherwise! With how much business they have at the RV park and the price of sites/rooms per night, you would expect these details to be thought of.

We were excited to see that the laundry was 24 hours on the pamphlet that they gave us at the front so we put our laundry in. the building was locked up so our stuff was sitting in the machine till 8 AM and we have to re-pay four dollars per load to wash it all again. Plus now we’re waiting for laundry to be done in the morning when we’re supposed to be leaving. I tried talking to them about how the pamphlet was wrong and nobody informed us that it was so we would like them to pay for our loads that had to be re-washed since it’s more expensive than even a laundromat… but the service was incredibly rude and hostile and you could tell that they didn’t care we were stressed about this at all. they said they’re not gonna refund it and on top of that defended themselves why we shouldn’t be complaining. The signs saying the updated hours were very hard to find and not in plain sight so it was an obvious to us first timers here. Just wish there was some understanding on their part. or sympathy. on top of that, The machine broke and we had to wait for a maintenance guy.

I booked 2 nights in this motel for myself and 2 children, so we can go to Bridal Falls waterpark. The room is very dusty and doesn't appear to have been cleaned for a long time. Since it's summer, we turned on the AC but it just circulated more dust. The bathroom is also outdated, with an unpleasant smell and visible rust and stains on all the fixtures. We weren't able to sleep due to the heat, dust and from itching, so we decided to leave the next morning. The booking process was also quite challenging. I had to call or email them and when I asked if I can make a slight change on the same day, they went ahead and change it and charged me a cancellation fee. Also, they didn't inform us that the Bridal Falls waterpark slides are closed. While I understand it is a separate facility, it would have been a thoughtful gesture to inform guests to prevent disappointment. My children and I are certainly very disappointed with this trip and will never come back again.
