Great vibe of jazz club straight from 20s. Very friendly staff and beautiful interior design. I hope one day live jazz will also return.

I stayed here one night on 21st of September 2024, the owners replied to my first review pretending I hadn’t actually stayed here, so I’m writing it again. Feel free to check my name and date, you’ll see I booked the most expensive room that night ;) The receptionist woman with shoulder length brown hair was disgusting. I informed her of an elevator malfunction and she screamed “why didn’t you tell me this sooner??” In front of everyone in the reception room. She then started blaming me and become very angry with me for pointing out the malfunction. Vicious woman.

Room and hotel is beautiful if you like old Jazz age… BUT they charge you extra with no previous awareness... real experience: We asked for extra time for check out and they accept it and when we get downstairs they charge us 25 euros extra for being late, but the cleaning lady was still cleaning the other rooms. So we do not affect the operations at all, but they still make money of the situation… Also during breakfast, we were delighted by the nice food BUT… we were daily eat estrange particles from the old brick ceiling that is coming down slowly. You just need to check the tables around and all of them have dust and the dust qty it is increasing over time. I wanted to mentioned the situation to the manager and the possible safety risks of the ceiling coming down or in lest extreme case, just the risk that their guest are eating several particles of that old sealing on every bite during breakfast… and not sure if that could affect someone’s health somehow. The most disturbing was the manager Andreas response. He sent me a message with the nice waiter that he has no time for this complains. The kind waiter confess me that they also complain to the owner about the situation and also because it is extra work and stress for them because it is extra cleaning job and extra complains for many guest but the owner do not do anything. If there is a lawyer reading this, please contact me, I documented very well the situation and I have even the particles in a plastic bag for chemical analysis and in case we find and toxic component we need to do something to protect the health of the people using that hotel. On the other hand, inside the home made marmalade there was also a strange ingredient… not sure what it was but it looks like non-vegan… check the pics.
