Coulsdon Manor Hotel and Golf Club

I’ve stayed here many times in the last 16 years for business probably over 100 times. There are a number of positives the biggest being the location& the price. Negatives? Clearly being run on a budget in recent years room service has disappeared. You cannot run a bar bill whilst you stay you have to pay as you go. Service in restaurant poor. Unless you make it blindingly clear u want to eat they will ignore you despite sitting at a table. Too few sockets in the rooms given we all carry numerous electrical devices. One socket in unusable given its location. You don’t have to change much. But please do. Its so close to being a great place but you are letting yourself down

An amazing venue with excellent facilities, great food, and a beautiful setting — we’ve been consistently impressed. However, I do feel it’s important to raise one concern. On multiple visits, a member of the reception team — who I believe is of Irish descent — has come across as abrupt and challenging. Unfortunately, this has occurred in situations where the issues raised were not attributable to my team, which made the interactions feel unfair and unnecessarily tense. A refresher in customer service and communication skills might be beneficial to ensure all guests feel welcomed and respected.

Went there on a golf trip. At 6.39am on Sunday Morning a lorry reversed under our bed room window(room 117) with reversing alarm on and then loaded Laundry waking us up I did mention this to The lady on reception who just laughed and said oh well. Rooms are dated mould around bath The toilet cistern is very slow to fill. Food was OK. Golf course fairways were poor tee boxes awful. Been here before it was much better.
