Country Club La Mesteceni

During our road trip in Romania, we ended up resting in this place and definitely it was the best spot we could ever dream of! Don't let yourself scare by the rustic aspect of the place, it's truly a heaven of peace, calm and with many activities such as horse riding, archery, tennis, pool, massage... The staff is very small and you will most likely be welcomed by the owner of the place who is a tremendously nice person and very attentive to every needs! We had been spoiled for two days by wonderful cooking and services. They also possess on the domain a very small factory of leather goods made by hands, and propose great products for a fair price. I would definitely come back if I ever had the chance to come back in Romania, don't miss it!

A very cozy place on the hills with excelent cuisine and serving. Big spaces, swimming pool with fountain and horses around.

We were passing through and having heard much about this location stopped to have coffee and refreshments. Almost no signage, called their land-line and mobile numbers without success at lunch time, entered the property next door to find their reception to be told they only serve guests staying there over night. Beautiful location though.
