Country Hotel Poggiomanente

Charming hotel in an easy to reach location with a good breakfast. The WiFi was good and necessary as the walls were thick and cell service didn’t work. The grounds were beautiful. The pool was not open in March, but looked inviting. I didn’t try the restaurant as I met friends staying with a tour group. My only complaint was that the cleaning staff threw away my plastic cup and shower cap each day. There were others, but this seemed wasteful. I should have asked at the desk to not have my room cleaned every day.

Nice but loud due to nearby road and festivities in the hotel during the night. Rooms and building are beautiful. Pool is nice apart from the fact that due to not enough sunbeds, people leave their towels the whole day without coming back... Nice lovely people and great glutenfree service for breakfast. Ciao.

We arrived to discover there was no place for us at the hotel and we had been sent to another location owner by the same hotel a mile away. The location where we actually stayed was an old set of rooms in the hills. There was no staff to assist in anything, the rooms were dirty, no soap or shampoo in the bathroom, a cat and it’s litter constantly around us and insects in my clothes! The worst part for me was the fact that it was a breakfast included fee, but if we wanted to have it, we had to walk down 1 miles to get it!!! I understand when this things happen, but the lack of care from everyone in Poggiomanente really made this a terrible experience. (And on top the owner insists is not his fault on the reply below) My only advice to fellow travellers is to ensure they are at the main hotel before arriving
